Why is my computer so slow?
Have you checked for updates for Windows? Have you checked for driver updates? If these don’t solve it, it may be your hardware.
Software glitching and freezing?
Check for updates of Windows and drivers but also see if the game or software has it’s own update. This could also be a result of the game or software overloading the device your using. Always check the requirements of a game or software. Especially when it comes to laptops and they struggle to run some softwares that are resource intensive.
My pet ate my charging cord and I need a new one?
We can help direct you on which one to purchase. If the wrong one is purchased you could risk shorting out your device if the voltage is too high, or not being able to charge your device at all if it’s specs aren’t high enough.
I spilled juice all over my laptop?
Kids will be kids and sometimes as adults we are clumsy. Make sure to TURN OFF YOUR DEVICE IMMEDIATELY! Anything with sugar can be a conductor where you don’t want it too. Clean up as much as you can with an absorbent cloth. Gently turn upside down to let anything in the keyboard drip out. Let it sit for a couple overnight to ensure it is dry. Be very aware of how it is reacting when you turn it on because if it is not working properly, you may have to have the internals cleaned by a professional. The sooner you do, the better the chances of fixing it and not having an oversized paper weight.
What should I look for when purchasing a new computer?
While laptops are great they can be limited in what they can run and how fast depending on their spec’s. For resource intensive games, you may be better off with a desktop. Same for developer and designer used computers. Desktops are more modifiable than laptops and can provide a workspace designed for your needs.
